Cheers’ to the launch of Cloudy Bay’s 2022 Sauvignon Blanc in a bespoke redesigned bottle

It was a remarkable evening for debuting Cloudy Bay, with its 2022 Sauvignon Blanc greeting Bangkok in its brand-new packaging. 

Cloudy Bay, a world-famous wine from New Zealand, with the definition of the “Great Wine by Great People,” releases its 2022 Sauvignon Blanc, heralding the launch of its distinctive new packaging in an exclusive party aboard the luxury ship cruising along the majestic Chao Phraya River of Bangkok.

Hosted on the Loy River Song, the latest cruise ship from Loy Pela Voyages, the dining experience is designed to appeal in all senses, all in the name of Cloudy Bay’s new 2022 Sauvignon Blanc vintage and to celebrate the wine’s redesigned bottle and packaging. Guests and executives; Mr. Sebastien Vilmot, Managing Director, Moët Hennessy Southeast Asia Emerging Markets, with two executives from Diageo Moët Hennessy Thailand, Mr. Puneet Narang, Managing Director and Ms. Kanokkarn Ingram, Marketing Director – Moët Hennessy, were gathered in the impressive two-and-a-half hours’ fête, which began at 4.30 pm at the Loy River Song pier at Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort and ends the evening with the spectacular sunsetting scene at Wat Arun (the Temple of Dawn). 

The new bottles reference the brand’s legacy while marking a new chapter in Cloudy Bay’s tale. Also, the minimalist label has been refined, emblazoned on canvas-feel paper stock with a die-cut silhouette of the iconic Richmond Ranges. This motif goes a step further, with the ranges embossed in the glass for a unique tactile experience. The number ‘1985’ is also engraved on the bottle which represents Cloudy Bays’ legacy which 1985 was the first year Sauvignon Blanc was firstly produced.  All of this help to celebrate this New Zealand-based wine—classic and citrus-forward—making it a very sought-after wine that is always a pleasure to sip and savour.
